Our Company: ISN was established in 2001 and is a global leader in contractor and supplier management. We work closely with a variety of household-name clients in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Latin America, and the Middle East to connect them with safe and reliable contractors and suppliers and incorporate a level of due diligence in the contractor management process.

The ISN Internship program in an intensive, ten-week program that gives university students a unique opportunity to put the skills they have learned in their undergraduate career into practical application in the workforce. A select group of students will be invited to participate and gain experience in two critical aspects of business: customer service and product development.

Products Team Software Developer interns will participate in a training program to teach them about our business model, then move into our Products Team. The Software Developer internship provides individuals an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while working on their assigned projects. At the close of their internship, they will present their findings and final products to the Products Team Management and Supervisors, gaining valuable experience in speaking in high-pressure situations.

Internship Duration: June 7  – August 13, 2027

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research and complete assigned project(s)
  • Handle internal customer inquiries and troubleshoot problems
  • Research and prepare reports for assigned projects
  • Prepare presentations for assigned projects
  • Deliver final presentation to Products Team Management and Supervisors
  • Potentially develop and design web pages and/or database objects, such as tables, stored procedures, functions, etc.
  • Research and develop new ways to improve existing functionality
  • Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement

Education and Training

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in Web Development using ASP.Net, VB.Net or C#, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Some experience in Database Development using T-SQL; writing queries, stored procedures and functions – preferred
  • Some experience in Mobile Development (iOS/Android) - preferred

 Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrate personal initiative
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid analytical and problem solving ability
  • Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility

Interview Dates: First round interviews will be held on campus. If successful after first round, candidates will be invited to final round interviews in Dallas, TX October 27 & 28.

Interns must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office and be willing to come into the office everyday unless approved by management.
