The position: The Cyber Solutions Engineer role is pivotal to the Risk Management team. This position contributes to the adoption and continuous development of robust and meaningful cyber risk management offerings for ISN Hiring Clients.

Using your people skills and inquisitive nature, you will develop relationships with customers to better understand the unique challenges presented by third-party cybersecurity risks.

Your credibility and solution-oriented way of thinking will help lead customers to the right answers for their business while also using those learnings to create best practices and product enhancements.

Who should apply?

  • Expertise:  5+ years’ experience in SaaS sales with a focus on cybersecurity and risk management
  • Knowledge:  Working knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, laws, and standards
  • Communication:  Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, tailored to level of understanding of your audience
  • Client Facing:  Experience presenting to multiple levels in an organization, public speaking and 1:1 client engagement
  • Thought Leadership:  Understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity risks, frameworks, and standards with ability to execute strategy and influence others

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
  • Cybersecurity certifications preferred 
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time for customer meetings

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Attend customer meetings as the cybersecurity risk management expert
  • Explain the value of using ISNetworld Cyber Plus to customers
  • Conduct Cyber Plus calls to vet and assess the cyber risk for Hiring Clients relative to their management of contractors and suppliers
  • Provide insight and expertise into industry trends, solutions, and regulations
  • Develop and present third-party cybersecurity risk management strategy to business stakeholders and Hiring Clients
  • Identify key metrics and KPIs for third-party cybersecurity risks management
  • Develop third-party cybersecurity risk program templates, tools, procedures, and processes and updates as necessary for Hiring Clients
  • Execution of go-to market plans in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams
  • Design and maintain third-party cybersecurity risk program tools, such as cybersecurity risk scorecards, risk assessments, workflows, reports, and process improvement initiatives for Hiring Clients
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain third-party cybersecurity risk management life cycle to include planning, due diligence, negotiation, ongoing monitoring, and termination of relationships

The location: ISN is based in Dallas, TX. The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is the fourth largest metropolitan area in the country, with a wide variety of excellent schools, entertainment venues, sports teams, and museums. ISN’s headquarters is in uptown Dallas, a short walk from multiple restaurants and shops, with easy access to public transportation and major highways.

Onsite Requirements: Employees must be within a commutable distance to the office and be willing to come into the office for required trainings, events, team activities, and meetings. Employees are required to be in-person during training and at least 3 days per week on an ongoing basis.
